The short answer

From 2026-09-07, two Monster Hunter Rise collab outfits are free:

  • Oni Lady gets the Hinoa outfit
  • Izumo no Okuni gets the Yomogi’s Dance outfit

Both are cosmetic and change no combat stats. The base game is required, and the DLC is free on each digital store.

How to claim and where to change

Outfits are claimed in-game through a Spirit Mirror.

To swap them, open the Spirit Mirror menu and pick Change Appearance.

Spirit Mirrors and Change Appearance unlock separately as you progress, so having the outfit before the menu appears is normal.

What each outfit is

The official copy has fun with it: the Oni Lady will not send you on Village Quests, and Okuni does not suddenly learn to make Yomogi’s dango.

The comics that came with it

CAPCOM also published two four-panel comics drawn by the Monster Hunter Rise development team to mark the collab. They are promotional extras and do not affect anything in-game.

Limits

This page covers only what CAPCOM has published: the two outfits, how to claim them, that they are free, and that they are cosmetic.

Whether a third outfit or another collaboration will follow has not been announced, and this page does not speculate.
